Kawartha Art Gallery
Meet the Client:
Kawartha Art Gallery is a not-for-profit organization in the City of Kawartha Lakes dedicated to fostering creativity, culture, and community through accessible art experiences. Guided by the vision of making the city a creative hub, the Gallery advances a healthy rural creative economy with diverse exhibitions, programs, and services that connect people across cultures and backgrounds.
Founded in the late 1960s and officially opened in 1976 as The Lindsay Gallery, the organization has grown from a small volunteer-driven initiative into a respected cultural institution. Now located on the second floor of the Lindsay Library, the Gallery continues to preserve and showcase its Permanent Collection while championing new voices in the arts. For more than 40 years, Kawartha Art Gallery has carried forward the spirit of its founders—ensuring art remains for everyone.
Client Challenge & Our Approach
The Kawartha Art Gallery was preparing for an exciting expansion and relocation. A key part of their growth strategy was building their email list to connect with a wider audience. We launched a two-month Meta ad campaign featuring both image and video creative. The goal was to drive landing page views and convert new visitors into email subscribers.
Key Results & Overall Impact
The campaign delivered outstanding list growth and efficiency:
New Subscriptions: 196 in May/June, compared to just 19 in March/April
Growth: More than 10x increase in new subscriptions after launch
Conversion Rate: 13.1% of landing page visitors subscribed
The campaign turned visibility into measurable audience growth, helping Kawartha Art Gallery build a significantly stronger email list ahead of their expansion—ensuring they can continue reaching and engaging their community long after the move.
